WEREWOLF SMACKDOWN, Book 5 in the Felix Gomez series, by friend and fellow Leaguer Mario Acevedo is available today! Woot! Felix is a former soldier who now makes a living (snerk) as a vampire private investigator. I’ve read the first four books in the series and they are all kinds of awesome. I can’t wait to read Book 5! Vampires and werewolves go fang-to-fang in the wicked city of Charleston, SC. If you like paranormal mysteries, you will LOVE Mario’s books.

Dear Torchwood,
What the hell is wrong with a happy ending now and then? Okay. I haven’t finished Series 2 yet, but c’mon! You guys kinda suck at actually saving people (or aliens). It’s depressing. However, I can’t stop looking at Captain Jack Harkness, so I’m in. Also, I love it when he kisses Ianto. And whoever else. Captain Jack’s lips are very active … heh. Anyway. I can’t quit you, Torchwood. But I do want to give your writers a good SMACK (in their angst-filled skulls).
